The Covid-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed our society and our way of life. It has also brought about seismic changes in the aviation security industry. This transformation is accelerating, and will have a major impact on the passenger experience over the next 5 to 10 years. Steve Karoly is the Executive Vice President of Maryland-based K2 Security Screening Group, and a former Assistant Administrator at the Transportation Security Administration. He joins me to discuss the new technologies, processes and procedures that have already been implemented by the TSA, airports and airlines, and others that we can expect to see in the near future.
